Installing TeleEye in Ireland TESCO

A new TESCO hypermarket with an area of over 45,000 sq. ft. in the city of Cashel, Ireland, has installed TeleEye CCTV system. Installed by Cashel Lighting & Security, Cashel TESCO hypermarket deployed the award winning TeleEye RX360 Series video recording server. Powered by revolutionary Multi-stream Video Coding Technology SMAC-M, RX360 Series delivers excellent DVD quality recording and fast video transmission simultaneously. With built-in DVD writer and removable hard drive, RX360 Series is especially suitable for large-scale and long duration monitoring for TESCO.

TeleEye professional 36X hi-resolution colour speed domes, DM889, are connected with TeleEye RX360 Series and installed at several places in the hypermarket, such as car park, main entrance / exit, cashier, etc. With powerful 432X zooming power, security operators can capture objects in detail from any distance.

UPI Bank Selected TeleEye to Secure its Branches

UPI Bank, one of the biggest bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina, chose TeleEye as its security partner.

One of the leading banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UPI Bank has selected TeleEye to secure its branches and ATMs. TeleEye enhances the safety of customers and employees, and saves the operational cost.

The UPI Bank has 16 corporate units, 20 agencies as well as a network of ATMs and POS terminals operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It deploys TeleEye solution throughout its branches to deliver remote security and surveillance on ATMs and branches. Technical support and training of security staff are provided by TeleEye office in Croatia.

TeleEye RX368 and RX3616 video recording servers transmit the video from local branches and ATMs to the monitoring centre via LAN and leased TCP/IP line. Security staff view the live video on TeleEye Multi-site Monitoring Software WX-M16 which is convenient for any organization with geographically dispersed local branches. 2-week video recording is set and the video is achieved 2 to 3 times a week. TeleEye RX also provides sophisticated event management such that the security staff will be alerted with dial back when there are events like external alarm, video loss, system tamper and system failure. Local recording will also be initiated.

Cliff said, 'It was a tough hike in thin air and under freezing wind. Although the journey is tough, the stunning panoramic view from the peak is rewardful!'

All client's sites will be shown on a geographical map of the area.

Triggered alarms will be shown on the floorplan and geographical map. Operators can manage their sites by clicking on them.

TeleEye CMS V3 Site Map (CMS3-SM) is an additional module for the CMS V3 Central Monitoring Station Software. With the CMS-SM site map module, users can upload different site maps, manage cameras and verify alarms of remote sites by just a few clicks on the map.

Site and Event Management can be Simple

With two layers of graphic user interface (GUI) ?Geographical Map and Floor Plan, operators can easily manage the location of sites and position all video surveillance equipment. Users can simply click the “icons?on the geographical map and get connection to the site. This eliminates the complexity of connecting the site through site name or IP address.

Video Compression Technology Seminar
in Hong Kong

In February, TeleEye Group held a seminar on the topic of Video Compression Technology in the Marketplace. Over 50 attendants joined the seminar and viewed the live demo and comparison of different compression technologies. The newly launched CX video recording server was also introduced in the seminar.

Dr. Wallace Ma, Chief Marketing Officer of the Group, presented some common problems of compression technologies in the market, and introduced the proprietary SMAC-M multi-stream coding technology. The SMAC-M provides users high quality video recording and fast transmission rate.
